Width filter information

Width is a text file or stream filter that will truncate lines so they are no longer than the width of the current screen mode. This can be useful if you are interested in only the first few (most commonly 80) characters of each line of a file, or need to make something fit on the screen (nevermind how wide it should be).

The width filter is written in assembly. Source is not included.

Click here to download the width filter, in the file WIDTH200.ZIP. This file is 854 bytes.

The width filter is freeware.
